For yesterday…
The 15th January is Wikipedia Day. 7 years ago on this date Wikipedia was launched and changed the way information was gathered and organised online. It was the first collaborative information resource that I am aware of and became instantly useful.
As of yesterday Wikipedia held 2,176,875 articles. That’s a phenomenal number, and even with all the inaccuracies it’s still right up there among the best information resources online (even if some people would rather you stopped using it).
